SHEEP LTD. was formed in 1994 by Hunter-Conservationist Jerry Fletcher and Outfitter-Guide Larry Heathington to provide high quality guided hunts to those individuals looking for the "Best of the Best." Fletcher saw the need for an outfitting service that provided the discriminate sportsmen with high quality camps, guides, and amenities, while searching for exceptional trophies on their hunts of a lifetime.
Larry Heathington now owns and manages the outfitting and guiding portion of the business, and is highly capable of doing so. He has been featured in a number of national publications including "The American Hunter," "Petersen Hunting" and "The North American Hunter" on hunts he has conducted, plus he is recognized as one of the premier desert sheep guides in America today. As a native Arizonan he is infinitely familiar with all Arizona's big game species and their habitats having hunted and outfitted here all of his adult life. In addition, he has outfitted and guided in California, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon and Montana on sixty-six of the highest dollar auction hunts ever sold.
All of SHEEP LTD's camps will be conducted using the highest quality equipment available on the market today with every possible precaution being taken to make certain that your stay with us will be comfortable and enjoyable. We supply everything needed for these hunts (except your personal gear), which includes:
- Transportation to and from the hunt unit
- Meals, lodging, and trophy care
- One-on-one guide service by personable, dedicated professionals
We have guided and outfitted Desert Bighorn Sheep, Rocky Mountain Sheep, Mule Deer, Coues Deer, Antelope, Black Bear, Elk, and Bison, but we specialize in Desert Sheep. We have had great success in the past on these hunts having taken the second largest ram ever taken in Arizona, the third largest bison in history, the Archery World Record Coues Deer, and many other exceptional trophies. As most any sportsman is aware, Arizona has some of the most outstanding hunting available today; and we know how to hunt Arizona.
In addition to our Arizona operation, we are also conducting high quality Auction hunts in other states on an annual basis that are available to our clientele on a first-come, first-serve basis. Plus, we are booking Rocky Mountain, Stone, and Dall sheep hunts for other highly qualified reputable outfitters in an effort to assist our clients in choosing a quality hunt and experience.
